Welcome. I am an English guy who is single and has a passion for travel and photography. Originally I started blogging ([link]) simply to record my travel memories, but the net has subsequently become a medium for me to record my journey through life, albeit through photographs or wild muses.

I have a rather hectic work life, so savour every moment of my free time that I can.

I enjoy travelling, and as any avid traveller will know, once you catch the travel bug it never goes away, it just gets stronger. Each time you cross one destination off your list, you add another two on the bottom. The desire to experience new cultures; the want to meet new people; the need to learn more about yourself... it's all just a footstep away.

Whether it is canoeing through the Amazon rainforest, climbing a sand dune in the Sinai Desert or even crying on the train platform in Auschwitz concentration camp - every experience has been a step further in my journey through life.
